Ichiro Nakatsu, founder of orSlow, developed an interest in denim during his youth when his mother gifted him a pair of vintage overalls. Since then, he has been dedicated to creating authentic workwear using specialized machines and local materials. Literally slowing things down, orSlow shuns the speed of ever-changing trends, favouring the creation of authentic designs with a classic Americana aesthetic. Think 1950s ivy-league, combined with vintage military and workwear influences. It’s a fail-safe combination of quality craftsmanship and considered design.
