Winter at Pitti Uomo
Every season the most dapper gents flock to Florence for Pitti Uomo - one of the premier stops on the menswear calendar. Something of a peacock’s dream, the trade-show is filled with superbly dressed industry insiders from all over the world.
Not to be outdone, Maze menswear buyers - Tony and Kelly - rocked their own solid line up of looks as they covered the show’s 59,000 square meters. Tailored suits reigned supreme and our team's handiwork with the camera shows the predominance of tweed and plaid for AW14, with trendsetters favouring muted tones and earthy colours.
Maze favourite - Scotch & Soda - confirmed the trend by debuting their premium menswear tailoring line - Atelier Scotch - at the show. Visitors to the stand were greeted by a jaunty piano player who set the tone for a collection that featured elements of the Scotch & Soda mainline, combined with Japanese materials, Scandinavian minimalism and preppy British style.
Check our images of the show (and some images courtesy of Pitti's own website) to get the feel for what you'll be wearing next winter.
Time for a well deserved snack.
