Feel Good Factor
We have always strived to partner with the people who care, people who produce beautiful products, whilst also considering the environmental and human impact of the industry they work in. Meet the brands that are doing so much good.

These days it’s hard work being a brand. Customers have been through an awakening as the human world has finally realised it can no longer continue to purge the earth’s resources at such speed and verocity. Reborn as Conscious Consumers armed with a list of expectations on the brands they shop at, from their eco credentials to their ethics, selling stuff is no longer enough.
Building long term meaningful relationships with the brands we work with is something that runs through our core at Maze. We strive to partner with people who care, people who produce beautiful products, whilst also considering the environmental and human impact of the industry they work in.
This season we welcome the return of some now well established homeware brands, and are also pleased to welcome some new partners to the team, who all share a common ethos, giving back.
You may remember from our last Journal piece ‘How to Style Out the Heat’ the Elsa basket bag we featured? Well it’s from Afro Art, a business centred on a love for traditional crafts. Collaborating with local artisans from developing countries within Africa, Asia and Latin America, to showcase and share traditional craftsmanship, bringing income to these areas and allowing these unique traditions to survive.
We’re big fans of the speckled ceramics from Nepal and have rather a soft spot for the joyful toys created in Bangladesh.
Next up, Truthbrush a multi award winning all female team with a big focus on innovation, thoughtful design and sustainability. They are also members of 1% For The Planet. Their bamboo Truthbrushes are perfect for everyday use, or great for holidays and overnight stays away. If you’re looking to make one simple sustainable change this year, we highly recommend ditching your regular toothpaste and all it’s packaging, in favour of toothpaste tablets, so simple, so effective, so good.
New to Maze this season are Niwaki, for all the gardeners out there. Expertly crafted and hand forged garden tools that will have your Wisteria whipped into shape in no time.
And Maison Bengal, a Fairtrade company, working with Mothers and young women in Bangladesh to help fight poverty. We don’t know about you, but our daily clutter looks a whole lot more stylish in the Hogla storage basket, rather than scattered across the worktop.
Finally, for a quick guest room update, sofa spruce or to add a little extra comfort to your garden bench, Bloomingville’s yarn dyed, recycled cotton throws, a snip at £22, are all you need.
Refreshing your interiors and lifestyle products has never felt so good, for everyone involved. We’d like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued loyalty, without you we couldn’t support all these wonderful inspiring brands.
